The Pankey Institute is recognized as the most advanced source of dental education. They offer training in every aspect of modern aesthetic and restorative dentistry, including guidance on how to help patients achieve optimal oral health–both physically and aesthetically.
But what makes The Pankey Institutes’ dentist training so noteworthy isn’t all that they teach; it’s also their focus on interpersonal skills: an often overlooked but vital component that dentists need, a true sense of caring when it comes to understanding patient concerns.
Dr. Alan Friedler has been voted among Connecticut Magazine’s Top Dentists for many years, most recently in 2020.
Being a ‘people-person’ he loves telling jokes to his patients and is known for taking his guitar and play some tunes upon request. From time to time he has been prone to do a magic trick or bring out his beloved Noodles puppet to bring a delightful smile on a timid child. He has always believed that patients are people first with real issues and concerns when it comes to their health so his approach is to first understand the patient who has the problem rather than the problem the patient has. He loves to bring out a smile whether you are young or older.
Dr. Alan Friedler has been a trusted and respected dentist in the Greater New Haven area and the Connecticut Shoreline for over 35 years.
